Ryan
grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and received his Bachelors degree in
Accounting from the University of Auburn in 1995.
He then went on to receive a Masters of Divinity degree from
the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond in 1998.
He has written articles for the Abingdon Preaching Annual for
almost ten years. He is
also currently working on a Doctor of Ministry Degree from McAfee
School of Theology and plans to graduate in May of 2009.
Following five years of serving as Associate
Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia, Ryan became
pastor of Trinity in June of 2003.
His wife’s name is Kay and he has two daughters and one son
(Jenna, Mary Brooks, and Turner).
He enjoys sports, music and being outdoors.
Tony Vincent, Minister of Christian Education
Tony
grew up all over South Carolina, and graduated from the University
of South Carolina in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a
minor in African-American Studies. In 2005 he received a Master of
Divinity degree from the M. Christopher White School of Divinity at
Gardner-Webb University. Tony also completed one unit of Clinical
Pastoral Education at Palmetto Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC.
Jo
has served as minister of music at Trinity since October,
2001. Prior to that time she was church pianist here, after serving
for ten years as minister of music at Seneca Baptist Church. She
received an Associate of Arts degree in music and piano performance
at Anderson College and her Bachelor of Arts degree in music
education from Lander College. She has completed post graduate
courses at Furman and Clemson universities. She
retired in 2001 from teaching elementary music and high school
choral music in Oconee County School District with 28 years
experience.
Jo and her husband, Jerry, have two sons, one daughter and eight
grandchildren:

Darren Williams, Minister of Youth
Darren
grew up in Morganton, North Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of
Science in biology from Western Carolina University. In 2000, he
married Jessica and they moved to Knoxville to attend the University
of Tennessee-Knoxville, where he earned a Master of Education. He taught
biology in the Henry County Public Schools, in Georgia, for three years. It was during this time
that Darren felt a call to ministry and began attending McAfee
School of Theology in Atlanta. He will finish his course work
in December 2009 and officially graduate with a Master of Divinity
in 2010.
Before coming to Trinity, Darren was the Minister of Youth at First
Baptist McDonough in Georgia.
Darren has been the Minster of Youth at Trinity Baptist since
March 2007. He enjoys hiking, mountain biking and spending
time with his family. His goal is to help youth move beyond
their levels of comfort to experience Christ in new and exciting
ways.
A
native of Bakersville, North Carolina, Jessica is in her last year
at McAfee School of Theology, where she will earn a Master of
Divinity. She graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville
with a Master of Education in 2003 and graduated
magna cum laude from
Western Carolina University with her Bachelor of Arts in History and
Political Science in 2000.
Jessica joined the staff of Trinity in 2008, after serving as an
intern with Clemson University’s Cooperative Student Fellowship.
Before moving to Seneca, she served as minister of children at First Baptist McDonough
in McDonough, Georgia, and taught high school students for four
years.
Jessica is married to Darren and they have an adorable
miniature daschund, Duke.
She enjoys school, running, being outdoors, and preaching.
